Preamplifier "Deep Thought" passive and active

This pre-amplifier is suited for use with power-amplifiers, giving possibility for input selecting of five Line-Level inputs. Preamplifier has one passive output and two independent outputs with active amplification of up to 10 times (20 dB). Amplification is solved by sophisticated tube buffer and can be switched off to save tubes if not needed to use. Output indication is based on nice classical VFD indicator with 20 dB logarithmic scale. This Pre-Amp is remote controllable. Pre-amp in Active Mode is capable to drive 10 kOhm or higher loads, so it is a good match for any power amplifier. In Passive Mode it acts as a simple volume adjuster with five selectable inputs.
